Rochester Scavenger Hunt: 9 Locations to Discover in Rochester, New York

Looking for fun activities with kids in Rochester this week? We have been out driving around the last few days and came up with this fun Rochester scavenger hunt that you can do from your car with kids.

The rules are pretty simple for this Rochester scavenger hunt. Pack the car with your favorite snack, a drink, and a notebook. Drive around finding the locations on the scavenger hunt. If it is safe to get out of your car you can take a picture in front of the location.

If you want to go a step further with each of the locations you can have your kids write down 3-5 observations they make about the locations. They can also choose a place to research more when they return home.

Another way to approach this scavenger hunt in Rochester is to ask them the questions below and have them try to guess the answer or research to solve it. Once they have the list of locations you can start your scavenger hunt.

If you have a device to use in the car you can go one by one through the location questions. Solve one, drive to discover it, and then move on to the next clue.

Drive around the block a few times to see the sculptures from different angels, and maybe snap a few photos. When you get home use play-doh to recreate an at home sculpture park.
