We’re Going to the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration(+ What’s In It For You!)

I started blogging to share and inspire families to connect more with their families through travel and everyday life adventures. What I never expected was that I would be inspired as well. This year I have the incredible opportunity to make a personal dream come true by attending the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. Not only is this an amazing adventure for my family, but it is an inside look at Walt Disney World and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Sharing our family life on this blog has inspired me in ways I didn’t know possible. I am inspired each and every day by connecting with my readers.

I love helping families plan their next vacation and I am super passionate about helping families plan their Walt Disney World vacation. There is something about a Walt Disney World vacation that makes me happy and I love sharing that with other families.

If you follow me on social media or regularly read my blog you know that I am a huge Disney fan. I love visiting the parks, but for me Disney is so much more. It is the stories and the moments they create. From the minute you walk into the Magic Kingdom and see Cinderella’s castle to spending time with your family watching the latest animated movie, Disney creates memories unlike any other.

I have always been interested in Disney. I love the creative aspect of every details and I love the magic that only Disney can create. When I first started blogging I knew Disney was going to be one of the topics I would write about because I am so passionate about helping families experience that Disney magic. Working with Disney has been a dream of mine since I started this blogging adventure and I am so excited to share it with you!

This February my family and I are going to attend the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. Words cannot really describe the emotions I had when I saw the email in my inbox. Since the beginning of my blogging journey the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration(#DisneySMMC) has been a goal of mine.

To be at Disney learning about upcoming attractions and entertainment and meeting some of the best bloggers out there is an amazing opportunity.

What is the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration?

The Disney Social Media Moms Celebration is an invite only event for bloggers and their families. It is held annually(February this year) and is part conference/part celebration. During the celebration there are planned events for bloggers only and planned events that include your family. This year the celebration is Land & Sea. This means we will be spending 3 days at Walt Disney World and 3 days on the Disney Dream Cruise.

4 Things I Can’t Wait to Share with YOU from the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration

#1 Behind the Scenes at Disney

One of the great things about attending the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration is the behind the scenes look at Disney. My love of Disney goes beyond what you see in the finished products. There are so many new and exciting attractions coming to Walt Disney World and I look forward to sharing all the new and exciting details with you.

I can’t wait to learn about the planning that goes into attractions and the details that Disney does to provide a magical experience to their guests. I have such an appreciation for the imagineers and am looking forward to learning about the creative process. All the behind the scenes access will help me share better tips and ways to help you plan your next Walt Disney World vacation.

#2 First Time Family Cruise

This year during the Disney Social Media Moms celebration we will be spending 3 nights on the Disney Cruise Line. Our family has never done a family cruise vacation and I have heard wonderful things about the Disney cruise line. I can’t wait for the food and entertainment onboard. The kids are so excited about the Oceaneer Club; Disney’s on-ship kids club. It has a Millennium Falcon(for all you Star Wars fans!) and I think they will love it!

#3 Meeting Friends In Real Life

Blogging can feel like an isolated world and most of your blogging friends live across the county. Having the opportunity to meet them, be inspired by them, and learn from them is incredible. I love being surrounded by smart and creative minds and at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration I will be around some of the best!

#4 Walt Disney World

The first few days of the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration will be spent at Walt Disney World. We have visited Walt Disney World many times but there are a few things on my list that I haven’t experienced. I can’t wait to explore the new Pandora Land at Animal Kingdom. The attention to detail in this new land looks amazing.  My youngest son is finally old enough to train to be a Jedi and we will be signing up for the Jedi Training Show at Hollywood Studios.  I am also looking forward to viewing a few of the newer night time shows that we haven’t seen.
