Disney Springs is the shopping, dining, and entertainment area at the Disney World resort. It is not one of the four theme parks and you do not need to purchase a ticket to visit. (Disney Springs was formerly Downtown Disney.)
Anyone visiting the Orlando area can visit Disney Springs for there great dining options or to spend the day shopping.
We love visiting Disney Springs with our kids to check out the LEGO store, The World of Disney as well as the unique shops they have. With all the walking around we like to include a meal in our Disney Springs day.
With over 60 dining options at Disney Springs from quick service to table service and food trucks to sweet treats, there is something that will work for your family.
Disney Springs is a huge complex. I have included the location of each restaurant but be sure to download the My Disney Experience App to help navigate once you arrive.
Top Disney Springs Restaurants with Kids
At Disney World you will find kids menus at most of their restaurants. There are fancy restaurants but most are kid-friendly restaurants that are a great option for families.
Table service restaurants will all be a popular spot for dining. If the restaurant accepts dining reservations make them as soon as you can.
If you are on the Disney Dining Plan (returning January 9th 2024) most restaurants will accept it. For an updated list check here.
Chicken Guy
Chicken Guy is our go-to casual dining option when visiting Disney Springs. No reservation is necessary and the food is always fantasit.
It has a basic menu of chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches, as well as french fries and milkshakes.
We enjoy chicken guy so much because it is affordable for our family of five, we usually spend under $60.00 for all five of us with drinks, and it is delicious. Everyone in the family likes it!
Chicken Guy offers a wide variety of dipping sauces and we each pick different ones to share and try. Some of our favorites are the Honey Mustard, Garlic Parmesan, and Peri Peri.

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ offers comfort food and brunch options daily. They are known for their fried chicken, deviled eggs, and biscuits.
They offer kids menu items like chicken tenders, fish sticks, Mac & Cheese, and cheeseburger.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is located in the Landing. Price: $$, $15.00-$34.99. Reservations recommended.
Rainforest Cafe
There are two Rainforest Cafe locations at Disney World. One at Disney Springs and one at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
If you want to dine amongst audio-animatronic gorillas and birds Rainforest Cafe is for you! Kids can learn more about rainforest animals and there is a colorful fish tank.
The food options are seafood, salads, burgers, and sandwiches.
Honestly the food at Rainforest Cafe is not the best at Disney Springs and it is expensive but it is a fun atmosphere that some kids will love.
Keep in mind the animatronics can be scary to some kids.

Raglan Road Irish Pub
Raglan Road Irish Pub is a dining experience. Guests get a authentic Irish dancing show and a dinner. It is a great place to dine.
Expect live music and dancing during dinner at Raglan Road. Guests can choose from traditional Irish meals like banger & mash and shepherds pie.

T-Rex Cafe
T-Rex Cafe is much like the Rainforest Cafe but with a Dinosaur theme. Kids can dig for hidden bones and stones in the Paleo zone.
There are also themed rooms with color-changing ice cavers, fern forests, a meteor shower, wooly mammoths, and animatronic dinosaurs.
This is an immersive experience along with a meal! The food options include burgers, sandwiches, and pasta dishes.

Earl of Sandwich
Earl of Sandwich has become a new family favorite when visiting Disney with teens! They kids are able to customize and order the sandwich that they like.
We recently visited Earl of Sandwich during our visit to Disneyland Paris and it was a great quick-service dining option. Thankfully we have a location much closer to home.
Earl of Sandwich offers breakfast sandwiches like egg and cheese as well as breakfast bowls. They also have hot and cold sandwich options for lunch and dinner.

Best Snacks at Disney Springs Restaurants with Kids
If you are not looking for a sit-down meal you may want to consider some of the great snack options at Disney Springs.
Gideons Bakehouse is a cookie shop that typically sees long lines. On a recent visit we headed straight there to get in the queue and then walked around Disney Springs.
Once we received a text that our spot was ready we headed over. The cookie options change seasonally and they really taste as good as they look.
A few more great snack places are Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, The Ganachery, Ghiradelli’s Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop, Haagen Dazs Ice Cream, and Sprinkles Cupcakes.

If you are looking for dinner to be a night out check out the live music at House of Blues or make reservations at Splitsville for bowling and dinner.
There is also AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In theatres. 6 of the 24 movies theaters offer dine-in service which includes finger foods, burgers, and flat bread options.
Drawn to Life by Cirque du Solei & Disney offers a pre-fixe dining offer. Guests can purchase tickets to the show and choose from multiple dining locations at Disney Springs for dinner. Learn more here.
As a parent the has visited Disney Springs with kids I am often looking for a coffee break. Disney Springs has two Starbucks location and two Joffrey’s Coffee locations.
How to Get to Disney Springs
If you are staying on-site for your Disney vacation guests can take the free transportation options to Disney Springs.
Most resort hotels offer bus transportation. Some resorts offer boat. Check with a cast member at your resort to find the best route.
If you are staying off-site guests can park at any of the Disney Springs parking garages. Parking is free at Disney Springs.

Disney Food Trucks, located in the West Side, offers a variety of options for dining with kids at Disney Springs.
Local Green Orlando is a plant based food truck, 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck is amazing, try the Taco Cone, and Cilantro Urban Eatery offer up Latin American flavors.
We haven’t been to every single restaurant at Disney Springs as a family but we like to try a new one every visit. Below I am sharing my list of places to try for next time.
