Snacking around Epcot’s World Showcase is a fun addition to your day at the Disney theme park. These are our picks for the best snacks at Epcot to include in your day.
Epcot at Walt Disney World is a great park to take at a slow pace and discover everything it has to offer. We love the rides and attractions but we also like to take time to try the snacks at Epcot.
Epcot’s World Showcase countries feature items specific to their culture and destination, making a visit to Epcot more than an average day at a theme park.
How to Plan Snacking Around Epcot’s World Showcase
We have visited Epcot with kids numerous times and each time we find something new to experience. There is so much to do at the parks you may not be able to try all the snacks and ride all the attractions in one visit.
I suggest you pick a few of your priorities for the day and make a point to see, do, or eat those! If trying the snacks at Epcot is your priority you may have to skip a few attractions.
One thing to keep in mind is that food lines tend to be long, especially as the day goes on. The World Showcase crowds will grow during late afternoon and into the evening.
There were snacks we skipped because we didn’t have the time to wait in a food line. Some places do offer mobile ordering and it is always a good idea to check the My Disney Experience app to see if it is offered at a specific location.
Mobile ordering can save you a lot of time waiting in long lines for food. I always recommend using it whenever possible.
On our most recent visit to Epcot we had very high hopes to accomplish a snack in each country and ride all the most popular attractions, but it did not happen.
We visited during one of the most popular weeks of the year and we ended up having a sick family member half-way through our day.
We did manage to try a few snacks from our list and they were definitely some of the best snacks at Epcot we have ever tried. I look forward to going back and adding a few more to this list.
Tips for Snacking Around Epcot
- Eating around Epcot is not going to necessarily save you money on meals. It could actually increase your food budget at the parks. If you are sharing snacks, like we are, you may not have more than one or two bites a person. This means you may need to purchase two snacks or plan a lunch stop during your day.
- If it works for your group you may want to consider skipping a meal and using the snacks as your lunch option. This depends on the size of the snacks you purchase and how many people are in your party.
- Consider bringing a reusable water bottle with you at the parks to save money on drinks. We always do this and it is especially helpful on hot days. You can ask for a cup of water at any dining location if you need to but we always find it easier to bring our own.
- Expect long lines at the food kiosks. At times, the lines can take 15+ minutes to order. Then you have to wait for your food. The food lines are often a surprise to people visiting the parks. Be sure to set expectations ahead of time. We often skip an item if the lines are longer than we have time for.
- Most of the snacks at Epcot will be located at quick service restaurant locations. These are counter service restaurants. The quick service at Disney World is very good so be sure to check the menus for great options.
- Talk with everyone in your group before you arrive at Epcot to see what snacks they would like to try. It is much easier to make decisions from the comfort of your home as opposed to a hot busy theme park.

Epcot is constantly updating and changing menus so some of these items may be there during your visit and some may be replaced with new items.
There are also popcorn locations and funnel cake locations at the entrance to the World Showcase. Closer to the entrance of the park is Connections Café.
The popcorn location can get very busy when they are featuring a new themed popcorn bucket. Keep this in mind if you see lines winding around the park!
Connections Café is a Starbucks location and will have typical Starbucks snacks. There is also a Connections Eatery that has burgers and chicken lunch/dinner options.
There is also a dining location in the Land Pavilion. Sunshine Season is a lunch/dinner option for families looking for a great place to sit down and escape the heat.

Best Snacks at Epcot
Churros from La Cantina de San Angel
These bite sized churros from La Cantina de San Angel were a perfect snack at the beginning of our day. There was enough to share, although I would have preferred purchasing two if sharing with 4+ people.
This comes with a side of chocolate sauce to dip the mini-churros in. Everyone in our group thought these had great flavor and crunch.
We would definitely get the churros at Epcot again.
School Bread at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe
There are a lot of different treats to try at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion. We had only planned on trying one item but we decided to go with two during our visit.
We probably could have picked more than two but we saved them for our next visit.
We tried the School Bread and the Norwegian Kringla. The School Bread is a sweet roll filled with custard and topped with coconut.
This would taste great with coffee and would be a great breakfast choice at Epcot if you were not in a rush.
The Norwegian Kringla is a pretzel shaped pastry with different topping options. We went with chocolate drizzle and it was very good!
There is also a Mickey Cinnamon roll, Lefse (flatbread with cinnamon, sugar and butter), Eplekake (apple cake with caramel) and more.
I would suggest you can’t go wrong trying something new at the Norway bakery each time you visit Epcot.
Croissant Jambon Fromage Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie
Les Halles has some of my favorite snacks in all of Epcot. The Croissant Jambon Fromage is basically ham and cheese melted into a croissant. It is delicious, under $10.00, and can be a snack or a meal.
Anything you buy from Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie will be delicious. Most of the time I am in line with plans to purchase one thing and end up buying a few more.
The prices are reasonable and the portions are big enough to share. On a recent visit we got a baguette, pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant), and a chocolate chip cookie.
I have never not liked what we ordered from here. It is tucked back in the France Pavilion and is usually busy. When we arrived lines were long but they moved quickly.
They have some of the best dessert and you won’t be disappointed with the food options at Les Halles!
Poutine at the Refreshment Port
We thought we would take a break from the sweet treats to try a savory option. At the Refreshment Port, outside the Canada Pavilion, you can purchase Poutine.
The portions are large enough to share and offer a good savory snack option. The traditional poutine consists of French fries, beef gravy, and cheese curds.
The Refreshment port does offer seasonal options that take a spin on the traditional menu. For example during the Flower and Garden Festival guests can try a Shrimp Scampi poutine.
Be sure to check the menu when ordering to see if any of the specialty items are something you are interested in trying.
A few More Snack Items Around Epcot’s World Showcase
- Macaroni & Cheese from Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American Pavilion
- Chips from Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the United Kingdom Pavilion
- Pork Eggroll at the Lotus Blossom Café in the China Pavilion
- Try any of the crepes from this quick service window. Includes options like Red Berries Crepe, Hazelnut and Chocolate Crepe, and Vanilla Ice Cream Crepe from Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris in the France Pavilion
- Rainbow Kakigori with Topping from Kabuki Café in the Japan Pavilion
Snacks During Epcot Festivals
During different times of the year Disney parks hosts festivals at Epcot. For the festivals you can expect to find specialty food items. These change seasonally and annually.
The festivals include:
- Festival of the Arts (January/February)
- Flower and Garden Festival (March-July)
- Food and Wine Festival (July-November)
- Festival of the Holidays (November/December)
Dates for the festivals at Epcot are subject to change but expect new and inspired menu items each year. During the food and wine festival expect big crowds and lots of new flavors to experience at Epcot.
Take a look here for the latest on the 2023 Flower and Garden Festival offerings.
Epcot is the best place to enjoy great food options, entertainment, and rides. We love planning our day around the specialty snacks and it is a unique theme park visit for our Disney vacation.
