A visit to Hersheypark wouldn’t be complete without dining on some of the delicious Hersheypark food options. We are sharing our picks for the best places to eat at Hersheypark and where you can find something for everyone in your family.
The food at Hersheypark will be a big part of your overall day at Hersheypark. Luckily there are so many dining options.
We have visited Hersheypark many times as a family and one of our favorite things to do is try all the good food at the park. Hersheypark has so many food options to fit everyone’s likes and budget.
Of course when you visit Hersheypark you expect to eat a lot of chocolate but that is not the only thing worth trying when visiting. From sweet to savory dishes Hersheypark offers great choices.
If you are staying on-site at The Hotel Hershey, Hershey Lodge, or the Campgrounds at Hersheypark you have even more options for dining. More on that later in the post.
Also keep in mind that Hersheypark is cashless. Guests with cash can use the kiosks to exchange for a card to be used in the park.

If you are visiting with kids you will appreciate Moe’s and Chick-Fil-A as familiar options, but don’t miss out on trying Chickie’s & Pete’s Fries. These are my absolute favorite!
A few of the locations has special themed items for the special events. Check out this post about Halloween at Hersheypark for some of the specialty treats.

5 Best Things to Eat at Hersheypark
We like to visit Hersheypark often and have found a few favorite foods that we always keep on the list visit after visit. I suggest sharing so you can sample a little bit of everything.
Chickie’s & Pete’s Fries
We always leave room to order the bucket of fries with the cheese sauce. These are delicious and all five of us love ordering them during our day at the park. The bucket is enough to share for the family too.
Cookies & Donuts at 1906 Grill
If you are visiting the chocolate capitol of the world you know you are going to get a fantastic chocolate chip cookie. Cookies & Donuts offers traditional chocolate chip cookies as well as Reese King size donuts. You don’t want to miss these!
King Shakes at Simply Chocolate
Hopefully you saved room for a King Sized Shake from Simply Chocolate. The shakes are huge! They also offer seasonal favorites like pumpkin.
Cinnamon Rolls from Spring Creek Smokehouse
These cinnamon rolls are offered year round but get a holiday themed makeover during the seasonal events. During Halloween you can order “Sinful Cinnamon Bread Intestines” but during our visit they were just cinnamon bread.
The Chocolatier
We went into our visit at The Chocolatier planning to do a shared sampler meal. We ordered the Ferris Wheel Sampler, Soft Pretzel, and a flat bread pizza to share. Everything was really good at the Chocolatier. This is located outside of Hersheypark. You do not need a park ticket to dine but I highly suggest reservations. It is very popular.
Where to Eat Outside Hersheypark
If you are looking to eat outside the park there are a lot of options at the Hersheypark resorts or around town.
The Circular at The Hotel Hershey has the best breakfast buffet. It is a little on the pricey side but if it is in your budget I suggest eating there once during your trip. It offers pastries, a hot breakfast, and omelet station.
The Bear’s Den at the Hershey Lodge offers a variety of American cuisine options. We ordered take-out on our last visit here and enjoyed it from the comfort of our room.
If you are visiting area attractions in Hershey besides the park you may want to include Houlihan’s in your day. Houlihan’s is a great spot for families to get lunch or dinner. Houlihan’s is within walking distance of the Hershey Story Museum too.
The food at Hersheypark will not leave you disappointed. With so many options you may need to plan a second day at the park!
